Barefoot Books
2023As the Graphic Design Intern at Barefoot Books, a renown children’s books publisher, I created entire marketing campaign assets ranging from website banners to social media assets.
I also designed beautiful outlines and end matter for upcoming titles Firefly Galaxy and Message in the Mooncake, and facilitated the print production process to edit artworks according to printing specs.

National Museum of the
American Indian
2021The National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) is a public museum, part of the Smithsonian foundation, exists to represent the less told history of the American Indians.
Here, you can see my rebranding for NMAI, completed for a school assignment.
My logo took inspiration upon the rough, natural facade of the National Mall location and the medicine wheel.
To some indigenous peoples of North America, the medicine wheel is a metaphor for a variety of spiritual concepts. A medicine wheel may also be a stone monument that illustrates this metaphor.

Exhibition
Photographs by Ruofei ShangAt the 2023 BFA Graphic Design Thesis Show, “Lived In,” my space was decorated with the letters and tools that were used in the workshop. I also created blank spots in the wall for people to create their own letterform designs and hang up on the wall.
